Papercutting delicate and extremely fragile pieces seems quite a daunting job when you’ve recently become the owner of a big, clumsy Saint Bernard puppy.

Ah, I’m really going to get the hang of updating this frequently one of these days. I just know it. For now, I thought I’d make a quick post to mention a few things:
- If you do wish to keep up with me and my work and the pieces I’ve been/will be working on lately, I do update my Instagram (<—click on link or look up Carolineegeland) and Facebook (<—click link) much more frequently!
- I’ve been in the slow process of sketching out a ton of new papercuts and sorting through new ideas. I’ve got a big project in order next year and many smaller ones to work through until then (which I don’t intend to spoil by giving anything away too early!) so you can expect the beginning of a whole new series in the months to come!
- Although otherwise the shop is quite bare, you may buy prints of “Don’t Force It” here.
- Unfortunately, the opening of my Etsy shop has been postponed as I have been keeping myself considerably busy with aforementioned projects. Do check back often for updates as that should be up and running soon!
If you’ve any questions for me about my work or if you’d like to get in touch with me to inquire about my commission work or collaborations, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you’d like to join the mailing list to stay up to date on details about the shops and receive exclusive offers and giveaways, email email@example.com.
That’s all for now. I thank you all for following my blog, spreading the word about my work and for the many kind words I’ve received from an overwhelming amount of people. I hope you have a really nice weekend!
Bénédictions et l’amour!
I’ve been quite slow and inconsistent with my posting but that has been for good reason. I am working several projects for some things that I’ll post more about later, some pieces that I’m being commissioned to do and have also been very busy with studying and the like. I’m going to be updating this more frequently or at least as frequently as I can, so be on the look out!
In the mean time, if you’d like to follow me or get in touch with me on some networks that I use more often:
Passez une bonne journée!
I noticed that my links weren’t working. They’re all better now and are now located in the same sections as “Archive” and “RSS” but, while I’m at it, I’ll include them here:
I’ve finished two new pieces over the last three days and I think I’ll be starting on the third tonight…Now if only I could strike a good balance between this and my normal coursework (time-wise).. I’d be set! Anyway, I’ll snap some pictures of them ASAP (Sorry for the iPhone pictures.. I plan on getting a nice camera eventually but that is very far down the line) Oh! I almost forgot! One notable thing about this new set of papercuts is that they will all be available for purchase (individually or in groups) and will come in frames (free of charge as a “thanks!” from me!)
Also, don’t you just love this time of year? I find myself saying “Happy December!” to nearly everyone (it’s a little too early to be wishing people a merry Christmas, I think) I’ve been sipping Joy tea while sitting by fireplaces and indulging in things like wearing black sweaters with black skirts over black tights paired with black shoes and Christmas specials and cheesy movies galore! Hope your first day of December was cozy!
