An unfinished papercut.

I set up an official Facebook page a few weeks back and I’d really appreciate it if you’d check it out and have a look around. Feel free to “like” it (I know I’d be quite grateful if you did!) and share it with your fri

ends and family! I update it as often as I can with information on and pictures of new projects I’m working on, progress shots of new pieces, special sales and deals in the shop, upcoming exhibitions, etc.!

So warmed to my core by all of the kind words, encouragements, sweet messages, compliments, commission requests and well wishes I’ve received via Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Instagram and Tumblr! I really appreciate all of it and it continues to serve as such a blessing and a motivation to me and for that I owe a great deal of gratitude to you all!

Papercutting delicate and extremely fragile pieces seems quite a daunting job when you’ve recently become the owner of a big, clumsy Saint Bernard puppy.

Today is the last day to get free shipping on any size/style/amount of prints in my shop!

Working away! I quite like Mondays because I feel so motivated and optimistic about the rest of the week.

A commissioned piece I’m working on after four and a half hours of cutting.

Made this “Don’t Force It” paper cut as a very late birthday gift for a dear friend.

"Tired River" papercut.

I’ve finished two new pieces over the last three days and I think I’ll be starting on the third tonight…Now if only I could strike a good balance between this and my normal coursework (time-wise).. I’d be set! Anyway, I’ll snap some pictures of them ASAP (Sorry for the iPhone pictures.. I plan on getting a nice camera eventually but that is very far down the line) Oh! I almost forgot! One notable thing about this new set of papercuts is that they will all be available for purchase (individually or in groups) and will come in frames (free of charge as a “thanks!” from me!)

Also, don’t you just love this time of year? I find myself saying “Happy December!” to nearly everyone (it’s a little too early to be wishing people a merry Christmas, I think) I’ve been sipping Joy tea while sitting by fireplaces and indulging in things like wearing black sweaters with black skirts over black tights paired with black shoes and Christmas specials and cheesy movies galore! Hope your first day of December was cozy!
